With little to no argument,
the most demanding position on the baseball field is the one designated as
number 2 on your scorecard. The
backbone of your team, the catcher! Whether
he is firing the ball to second base to torch yet another potential base stealer,
or keeping the base runners tight at the corners, or scooping up that diving
curveball, the Greyhounds are thankful
that their masked man is none other than Ryan Brown, aka “Downtown”, “RB”,
“Browny”. When Ryan isn’t throwing out
base runners or diving for a foul ball, you can see him throwing a well-placed
fast ball and striking out yet another batter who was way out in front of his
nasty slider. Off the field, Ryan is
just as successful, earning straight A’s and performing instrumentally at a
high level. The Greyhounds would like to
congratulate Ryan Brown on being named one of the faces of the MABF. Ryan, thanks for being a great teammate and
we look forward to many more years of competition, success and happiness. NEW MABF WEBSITE FOR THE 2015 SEASON Original Picture - Ryan Pitching at Grand Park in Indiana |
