Greyhound Baseball Club 16u will hit the road this week to compete in the Pastime Michigan State University Prospect Select Tournament of Champions. The tournament will be held at Michigan State University and several local college and high school fields in the immediate area. The 16u age group will host 60 teams broken down into 12 pools. The top team in each pool will advance to the championship bracket, which starts on Saturday evening. Pastime will also host three additional brackets - see below. This is an "All Scout" event. All Scout events include live game cast coverage of every pitch, complete stat tracking on every game and player in the event, Player of the Game awards, and All Tournament team distinctions for each event. Participants earning "All Tournament" status will be invited to the All Scout World Series at the end of the Summer to showcase their status in front of dozens of scouts at a combine followed by live games against registered teams accepted in to the All Scout World Series event. There is no gate fee for children under 18 or seniors over 65. Team Uniforms Thursday - Vintage Uniforms - Vintage Jersey and White Pants Friday - Home Uniforms - White Jersey and Navy Pants Saturday - Away Uniforms - Navy Jersey and Grey Pants Sunday - Vintage Uniforms - Vintage Jersey and White Pants Footwear ALL PLAYERS MUST BRING CLEATS AND TURF SHOES.
