Greyhound Baseball Club wrapped up the 2014 season this weekend in Farmington Hills, MI, playing in the USSSA WaCo Wolves Fall Brawl. It was nice to play a tournament close to home, however the weather was once again cold and windy on Saturday. The Greyhounds started off in pool play with an 8-1 win over the Detroit Incredibles, and a 10-0 win over the Detroit Tribe, a new team joining the MABF in 2015 from Grosse Pointe, MI. On Sunday the boys returned to face the Motor City Hitmen, and ended pool play with a 3-0 record, winning the game 12-3. The team went on to win the championship game on Sunday afternoon 8-0 over the Michigan Lazers. It was another exciting weekend of baseball for the 2015 Greyhounds, Coaches and Families. The 2015 team is now 15-2 in tournament play, and has won the past three tournaments. It should be an exciting Spring!!! Great Job Greyhounds! |
