The Greyhounds started Sunday with the #2 seed facing the Detroit Bees in the Semi-Final. The Greyhounds prevailed with a 12-3 mercy in the 5th inning and moved to the championship game.

The championship game was against the Downriver Hawks, who just completed two big wins against the Detroit Metro Stars and Michigan Bulls. The Greyhounds were familiar with the Hawks, after getting a win against them on Saturday.

The hawks jumped to an early lead, and the Greyhounds were unable to catch up. The final score was 13-6 after six innings of play. The Downriver Hawks is a well coached and talented group of boys, with great families. We wish them the best of luck in 2012, and glad we faced in them in the championship game on Mother's Day.

The Greyhounds wore Pink laces on Mother's Day in support of Mom's and Breast Cancer Awareness. Over 50 pictures has been added to the gallery from the weekend - enjoy!

Great weekend of Baseball for all the Greyhound families. The boys went 3-1 for the weekend and everyone ended up with a little sun burn on Sunday.
