The Greyhounds faced another weekend of tough competition playing in the 11/12u division of the WaCo Wolves Fall Brawl at Founder Sports Park. The Greyhounds opened against the Expos 12u team, which was stacked with some of the top 12u players in the area and the Greyhounds were able to hold them to 8 runs in 4 innings. The final score was 8-0.

Our second game was against the Redford Allstars 12u team and the boys were not prepared to lose 2 games in 1 day. The Greyhounds jumped out to an early lead, and continued to add runs throughout the game. The Allstars put some runs on the board in the 6th inning, but the Greyhounds held on to win 9-7.

On Sunday, we played our 3rd game of the weekend against the Saginaw Bay Riverdawgs 11u team which was a great game. Both teams played a competitive game of baseball, and the Riverdawgs were able to score 2 runs in the 6th inning to win 4-3.

Alex and Leah (Greyhound Sisters) pictured above enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon watching their older brothers play baseball. Win or Lose....it was still a great weekend of baseball for the Greyhound players and families.
