BBCOR Bat Required for 14u - Christmas Gift Idea!

Coach Basey brought up a good question this week - What is the bat requirements for 14u players in 2016?

Listed below is the bat requirements for 14u, based on 2015 rule books, which will most likely be the same for 2016.

Bottom Line: All players will need to purchase a BBCOR bat for 2016. Players will be able to use their bat from last year at some events - see details below.






MABF - BBCOR Bat is required for 14u

USSSA - 1.15 BPF Bat can be used for 14u, or you can use a BBCOR Bat

Triple Crown Sports (TCS) - BBCOR Bat is required for 14u

Great Midwest Baseball (GMB) - 1.15 BPF (Must be -5) can be used for 14u, or you can use a BBCOR Bat

Game Day USA -1.15 BPF Bat can be used and will have no weight drop restriction. Alternatively, BBCOR and/or woods bats may be used.

Perfect Game (PG) - 1.15 BPF (Must be -5) can be used for 14u, or you can use a BBCOR Bat - BBCOR Bat must be used for all National Championships
